Walking Santa Barbara
Being keen on the zombie theme plus the post-apocalypse, she avoided this series for years - I was not thankful for the trailer, the actors are extremely ordinary-looking. Recently, my report on zombie films started thin out and I rubbed my hands, tuned to the drama and non-trivial plot, sat down to see the initial episode. Unfortunately, sheer disappointment with a little rabies. Frenzy from high ratings and loud positive reviews. Certainly, I can keep the opinion of people who write praises to myself, but there is no doubt with regards to the maturity from the thought of these people. Yes, it is see-through that this can be a film. But guys - this can be a degree of directing and script underneath the floor. Has mastered the 1st two instances of the primary season, there is absolutely no desire to take a look further.
From the initial minutes I wanted to wind. I enjoy atmospheric films, dull landscapes, whipping up a tragic atmosphere ... That isn't here. Neither the digital camera work, nor the inventory based in the frame and other associated things helped. The scenes are prolonged to begin exhaustion. A good negative is the primary perhaps the series. The sense that they planned to cheat me never left me - the concept was taken from the truly great film'28 days later ', using the creators'imagination, apparently, quite tight. Next is the main character. In general, it seemed that a grownup man - his wife, children - behaves himself so stupidly, but from his stupid actions and inappropriate behavior the hand itself literally magnetized to the forehead. Yes, there's no need being heroic, but to behave rationally, at the very least with a small amount of courage and ingenuity, and it might be significantly better (his trip to town with zombies, over a horse, by using a sheriff's deputy is often a separate fail).
Regarding the acting: weak. It seems like a drama, but they also don't care. Neither fish nor fowl. The leading character has one emotion - tension.
Action is obtained in micro-sizes, a couple of interesting decisions took place - that predictability kills everything in the bud. Not interested.
What are the results within the series itself is not clear. It feels like it as planned, but it functions in an awful way. Why suddenly zombies, where, when - no less than some information. But no, we're also shown the link of persons, health-lists.com their idle chatter and running around. This looks like it's the primary motive on the series. The heroes, having not power on their brains, do what's necessary but try to thrive and adjust to the changed world. If anyone came here with the zombies, don't waste your time.
P. s. I see that negative reviews are not particularly favored here - there're simply mercilessly minus. Although people give greater than convincing facts - like endless cartridges, food, gasoline, the hopeless stupidity of heroes, short sleeves ... Seriously, understanding that a zombie bite is 100% fatal, does one walk across the street in a very thin shirt? ... Or if you know zombies react for the sound, loudly call their friend? ...
It would seem a trifle - but the normal perception of the photo consists of the trifles.
