Walking Santa Barbara
Being keen on the zombie theme and also the post-apocalypse, she avoided this series for a long time - I wasn't astounded by a clip, the actors are quite ordinary-looking. Recently, my number of zombie films did start to thin out and I rubbed my hands, tuned into the drama and non-trivial plot, sat down to see the primary episode. Unfortunately, sheer disappointment with some rabies. Frenzy from high ratings and loud positive movies reviews. Needless to say, I will keep the opinion of those people who write praises to myself, but no doubt about the maturity of the perception of these people. Yes, it is obvious that this can be a film. But guys - this is the degree of directing and script beneath the floor. Has mastered the earliest two instances of the primary season, there isn't a desire to take a look further.
From the 1st minutes I want to to wind. I like atmospheric films, dull landscapes, whipping up a tragic atmosphere ... This isn't here. Neither your camera work, nor the inventory in the frame and other associated things helped. The scenes are slow to the point of exhaustion. A strong negative is the first portion of the series. The opinion that they desired to cheat me never left me - the concept was extracted from the great film'28 days later ', with the creators'imagination, apparently, quite tight. Next is the leading character. In general, it seemed that grown-up man - his wife, children - behaves himself so stupidly, but from his stupid actions and inappropriate behavior the hand itself literally magnetized towards forehead. Yes, there is no need to get heroic, but to behave rationally, a minimum of with a drop of courage and ingenuity, and it may be greater (his escape to the location with zombies, using a horse, such as a sheriff's deputy is usually a separate fail).
With regards to the acting: weak. It appears as if a drama, however they don't care. Neither fish nor fowl. The key character has one emotion - tension.
Action is present in micro-sizes, several interesting decisions have place - just that predictability kills my way through the bud. Not interested.
What occurs inside the series itself is not clear. It appears as if it should be as planned, but it truely does work in a bad way. Why suddenly zombies, where, when - not less than some information. But no, we have been shown the bond of individuals, their idle chatter and running around. This appears to be the key motive of the series. The heroes, having switched off their brains, do anything whatsoever but try to thrive and adapt to the changed world. If anyone came here because of the zombies, don't waste your time.
P. s. I see that negative surveys are not particularly favored here - there're simply mercilessly minus. Although people give above convincing facts - like endless cartridges, food, gasoline, the hopeless stupidity of heroes, short sleeves ... Seriously, with the knowledge that a zombie bite is 100% fatal, could you walk across the street in a very thin shirt? ... Or understanding that zombies react to your sound, loudly call their friend? ...
It would seem a trifle - but the final perception of the picture consists of which trifles.
