The Walking Dead hit screens following your horror genre began its renaissance. Films like 28 Days Later and Dawn on the Dead have brought the rotting corpses out of their graves to fashion, as well as the creators of The Walking Dead simply would not help but make use of the opportunity. Firstly, they enlisted the support of your authors of the first 2003 comic, and after that invited talented creators to build up, led by Frank Darabont.

The chief character from the story is the previous sheriff Rick Grimes, who woke up after being badly wounded from the hospital.
