The Zonda's production run ended with the Zonda HP Barchetta. The car's design was inspired by jet fighters and the famous Sauber-Mercedes Silver Arrow Group C cars, and features several unique design elements, including its circular four pipe exhaust system. Pagani's first model, the Zonda, is powered by way of a mid-mounted DOHC V12 engine manufactured by Mercedes-Benz's AMG division. Only three were produced with one unit retained for Horacio Pagani's personal collection and the other two costing US$15M.

The inside of the car Pagani Zonda R is spartan, which reflects the car's aspirations on the racetrack and the intended home, and has driver-adapted seats for maximum support. The relative luxury of previous cars was targeted at reducing weight for the 760 models, but that shouldn't be mistaken for a craft dive. All the attention that is put under the skin continues in the cabin. Digital devices provide important info, and modern telemetry allows many different sensors to monitor many areas of a vehicle. During the design process, Horatio Pagani emphasized the feel of the cockpit as a fighter plane, giving the light-filled cabin a surprisingly good look. It is manufactured out of the best possible materials, machined and recycled aluminum with thin skins and a selection of thin parts that combine perfect carbon fiber work. In line with the owners'specifications, the 760RS is made with a large quantity of carbon components, all the aluminum components are made of anodized black aluminum.

At the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, Pagani announced the exclusive Zonda Tricolore, developed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Frecce Tricolori, the Italian Air Force's aerobatic squadron. The Tricolore is dependant on a top specification Zonda Cinque, built on a carbon titanium chassis with sequential transmission and titanium exhausts. Originally meant to be limited to an individual car, eventually three were produced. The mid-mounted 7.3L M297 Mercedes AMG V12 engine produces 670 hp (679 PS; 500 kW), which helps the car achieve a high speed of 217 mph (349 km/h) and a 0–60 mph (97 km/h) acceleration time of 3.2 seconds.

In 1994, Mercedes-Benz agreed to provide Pagani with V12 engines. The cost of these cars are in a complete of 2.3 million dollars. In 1991, Pagani established Modena Design to generally meet the increasing demand for his design, engineering, and prototyping services. In 1992, he began construction of a Fangio F1 prototype, and by 1993, the vehicle had been tested at the Dallara wind tunnel with positive results.

So this Huayra is truly a continuation with this car, 10 years since it had been manufactured. 2021 Pagani Zonda R Tricolore Frecce was published to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Tricolori. As well as the roofless bucket body configuration, the Huayra Tricolore also gets a redesigned interior, inspired by the aircraft cabin utilized by the Aermacchi MB-339 – Frecce Tricolori. All aluminum components are constructed of aerospace material, and the seats are available in two colors, white and blue, along with white, red and green striped inserts.

Horacio Pagani, who formerly managed Lamborghini's composites department, founded Pagani Composite Research in 1988. Pagani Automobili S.p.A. The company was founded in 1992 by Horacio Pagani and is based in San Cesario sul Panaro, near Modena, Italy. This new company caused Lamborghini on numerous projects, Zonda R 2021 including the restyling of the 25th Anniversary Countach, the Lamborghini LM002, the Lamborghini P140 design concept, and the Diablo. In the late 1980s, Pagani began designing their own car, then known as the "C8 Project ".Pagani planned to rename the C8 the "Fangio F1" to honour his friend, the five-time Argentinian Formula One champion Juan Manuel Fangio. is an Ítalian manufacturer of sports cars and carbon fibre components.

The hull and aerodynamics change to maximum downhill power, and leading cover is built with an extended, closed lower body and a new rear suspension with a rear wing and a race-derived diffuser. It can be noted that the newest rear body of the automobile is quite minimal, mainly ventilated. They're designed for Pagani aerodynamic efficiency and down power conversion for maximum angular velocity. That is regarded as an indication that the engine must be adequately cooled, gtopcars.com even each time a hard track is used. In addition to the 2021 Pagani Zonda R escalation in axle distance, the 2021 Pagani Zonda Rtotal length risen up to 394 mm (15.5 inches) and the track increased to 2-inches.

As before, the Digitek instrumentation provides essential information and the sophisticated telemetry allows many different sensors to monitor numerous areas of the car. The car's interior is spartan, reflecting the car's racetrack aspirations and intended home, and features seats customized to the driver to offer maximum support.

The AMG-built engine is mated to a 6-speed longitudinally-mounted manual sequential synchronized gearbox manufactured by Xtrac. The Pagani Zonda R includes a claimed top speed of 375 km/h (233 mph), accelerates to 97 km/h (60 mph) in 2.5 seconds, to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.0 seconds. And a certain power output of 125 PS/litre. The engine, although distributed to the Mercedes CLK-GTR, has been modified and posseses an increased power output of 750 PS (552 kW; 740 hp) at 7,500 rpm and 710 N⋅m (524 lb⋅ft) of torque. A lightweight carbon fibre powerful intake system, racing multiple disc centered clutch and Formula One-style exhaust system, hydroformed in Inconel 625 and ceramic coated for optimal heat dissipation, have been added. It can brake from 97 to 0 km/h (60 to 0 mph) in 96.
