Teenager Forks Out 50K In Dental Bills After Punch Up
A teenage boy who was knocked out after a wild 18th birthday party says he will have to fork out $50,000 in dental bills, while the thug who bashed him will be free in months.
Luke Crowhurst, 19, had just left the party on Queensland's Sunshine Coast when he was set upon earlier this year, the [ ] reports.
The teenager was walking home with a friend when an 'aggressive' Lawrence Peter Wright, 20, ambushed him with three other mates.
'We don't want no beef,' were Mr Crowhurst's final words before he was repeatedly punched in the face and then kicked as he lay unconscious on the ground.

Fortunately for Mr Crowhurst, a patrolling police car saw the incident and rushed the 19-year-old to hospital.
This week, Wright pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm and was sentenced to 18 months in jail, tour chùa yên tử suspended after four months.
Mr Crowhurst said he has been seriously traumatised from the beating, which snapped two of his teeth off at the gum and left his mouth a bloodied mess.

‘The last 18 months has been traumatic for me and my family and has messed up my start to life,' he said in court.
‘Due to the damage to my teeth it will be something that never goes away and I will have to live the rest of my life with.'
His mother Sarah Crowhurst said there has been a huge financial burden on her family after paying dental bills which could amount to $50,000 to fix his teeth.
'I've got huge medical bills that we can't afford but I've got my son,' Ms Crowhurst said.
